Mary Helen will give an overview of her annual detox class.  She will review the basics of detoxing the liver, gallbladder, blood, lymphs, skin, intestines, kidneys, lungs, and sinuses, as well as candida and parasite detoxing.  She will also discuss natural replacements for common over the counter and prescription medications.

Mary Helen Lee, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M., R.H. (A.H.G.), has been practicing as an acupuncturist and herbalist for nearly 20 years.  Her private practice, White Moon Healing Center, is in Chicago’s Roger’s Park neighborhood.  She is board certified in acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and Oriental Medicine. She is a professional member of the American Herbalist Guild and practices Western herbal medicine as well as traditional Chinese medicine.  She incorporates homeopathy, aromatherapy, Reiki, flower essences, nutritional counseling, and detoxification into her practice.  She specializes in helping patients replace chemical medications with natural medicines.  Her comprehensive natural pharmacy includes her own line of herbal extracts, White Moon Botanicals, which incorporate a unique blend of Western and Chinese herbs.

Arya Bhavan will feature an all-raw, vegetarian/vegan buffet during the presentation.
